Among my favorites is The Guild, a series about a group of players of online RPGs, or the latest Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog Joss Whedon (the creator of Buffy, Angel , Firefly and Dollhouse).
series I wanted to talk about in this article, however, is different: One Pioneer . It is a low-budget science fiction series, created through voluntary donations and distributed through filesharing circuits, primarily VODO.net.

The plot: an object from space crashes on the soil of Canada, spewing radiation over parts of North America. The authorities suspect a case of terrorism. To investigate the case, we are the agents of Homeland Security, Tom Taylor, and his colleague Sophie Larson.

The first episode was funded by the modest sum of $ 6000, money has come entirely from voluntary donations, through the website Kickstarter. The entire script of the series has already been written, for the moment the pilot was shot while the next three episodes will come out from December onwards, at intervals of about one month each. Hardly, in the past, even far away, the civic church chapel of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary in Trieste has been able to attend events like those that were conducted last August 14 and 15, in the feast of the Assumption of Mary into heaven SS.ma, the so-called "Easter summer."

A number of faithful and simple lovers of bel canto that literally filled the temple has been the crown to the solemn liturgies accompanied by the song of a choir from Oxford, United Kingdom, the "Scores Vocal Ensemble, directed by Thomas Primrose body and accompanied by Gabriele Damiani. The event traditionally is repeated for some years now, under the name "Music for the Spirit ", thanks to the association Friends of Music of Luigi and Federico Ricci Trieste, in order to bring the great masterpieces of liturgical polyphony through the Anglo-Saxon interpretation of choral groups, where accuracy and finesse are universally recognized executive. Quest 'year, the initiative has gained unprecedented success, despite competition from the dreaded "Ferragosto" holiday, the strong appeal of the sacred rites, celebrated in the traditional form of "Gregorian" in Latin, with the ceremonies of great pomp and circumstance.



The celebrations began on Saturday morning at 9.00 am, Solemn Mass with the third "in eve Assumptionis" celebrated by Fr Stephen Canon, parish administrator, in the evening at 19.00, s. Solemn Mass was celebrated by a young priest belonging to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, Don Gerard Gesch, ordered by His. Mo Cardinal Cañizares on 3 July to Wigratzbad that at the end of the rite, he offered to kiss the consecrated hands of the faithful, assisted by rev. deacon and the Rev. Marek Grabowski. Music for the Spirit is a festival of sacred music that aims at enhancing the sacred song in its own context, namely the Sacred Liturgy. The exhibition, which is now in its third edition - despite many difficulties of financial and organizational - is animated from year to year from local and foreign ensembles. This event was conceived in 2008 by Don Stephen Canon, now pastor at the Church of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary of Trieste, who comments:

Thomas Primrose, Director

The group is led by Thomas Primrose, a graduate in music at Oxford University, where he already was noted as a director of various student and amateur choirs. He studied composition with Robert Saxton and organ with David Titterington. He is currently on the staff of Norwich Cathedral Music. Parallel to adjust to the Cathedral, which is to play the organ, choir singing and directing, Tom has planned numerous concerts as organist and director throughout the UK. Rated accompanist, he has collaborated with renowned singers throughout the United Kingdom. He is the founder, with tenor Ben Johnson, the Southrepps Classical Music Festival, a collection of Lieder and chamber music events which closes with a gala concert attended by many opera singers of international fame.

Gabriele Damiani, organist

assistant organist at Westminster Cathedral from 2002 to 2003, was the first and so far the only Italian to hold this role in the history of the cathedral in London. Already organist at the Chapel Royal Chelsea, Gabriel won the European title of Bachelor of Music in London at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he studied organ, piano, harpsichord, orchestration, conducting and improvisation. He obtained a Diploma with honors from the Royal College of Organists (ARCO) Doris Wookey winning the prize for organ composition.
He has about two hundred concerts in Europe and the United States as soloist, conductor, accompanist and continuo in chamber music. Maestro Owen Rees, Fellow in Music and Music Director of Queen's College, Oxford, wrote: "Gabriele Damiani has a way of playing smart and exciting, it expresses in style and maturity through programs imaginative and well balanced."

Max Ponte's first book, which inaugurates the "Total Poetry Collection." The series dedicated to contemporary art and poetry festival "Poetry Total". The work includes five sequences of poems, with boards of visual poetry. The book has national distribution and you can take in all libraries. L a poem by Max Bridge comes in its capacity as cellulose. "Eyeliner" brings together the work of recent years, some have already appeared in blogs, magazines, books, television and radio broadcasting. Gstk project is a flash that I'm carrying on with the newly formed Software House Broken Arms Games.

It the game of chess with some updates and distortions, with the addition of a strong RPG.
For this game I take care of both the design and graphics, the chess pieces were first drawn and colored with Photoshop and then were converted into vector using Flash CS4.
For this project I was inspired by an old game for the Game Boy, a Castle Quest . Released in 1990, I do not think has been very successful ... perhaps too early for the times, surely a game like a much better chance today than twenty years ago, especially when combined with online multiplayer!
