speak of web series: episodic transmitted via the Web, typically with YouTube or other video sharing sites. Among my favorites is The Guild, a series about a group of players of online RPGs, or the latest Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog Joss Whedon (the creator of Buffy, Angel , Firefly and Dollhouse).
series I wanted to talk about in this article, however, is different: One Pioneer . It is a low-budget science fiction series, created through voluntary donations and distributed through filesharing circuits, primarily VODO.net.

The plot: an object from space crashes on the soil of Canada, spewing radiation over parts of North America. The authorities suspect a case of terrorism. To investigate the case, we are the agents of Homeland Security, Tom Taylor, and his colleague Sophie Larson.

The first episode was funded by the modest sum of $ 6000, money has come entirely from voluntary donations, through the website Kickstarter. The entire script of the series has already been written, for the moment the pilot was shot while the next three episodes will come out from December onwards, at intervals of about one month each. This experiment is interesting for the production aspect, being completely detached from the logic of the market. However, you can make considerations regarding the installation and the choices of direction. While not considered an expert on the subject, I noticed an excessive use of the sequence shot in conversations than the classic technique of the field and reverse. This can confuse the viewer, but in a way reminiscent of the documentary style that distinguishes, for example, District 9. According to the filmmakers, this has been necessary to save time and achieve faster completion of the episode. We'll see in the next point, remember also that a production like this will certainly treasure the community feedback to improve.

Finally after so much effort here is the demo of Trinity, a game triangular cards.

Concept, design and graphics were designed by me, while programming in Flash was curated by the excellent Matt "mATX" Traverso.
