We who ... video games in the 90s (Amiga) The Duke is back

Looking back they were video games over the years. As the title of the post, such as it was about playing video games in the 90s, especially with the Amiga.

  • that if we wanted to play the Commodore 64, you had to load the cassette half an hour before we
  • that whoever had the 5.25-inch floppy was a gentleman, and drew the envy of all his friends
  • us that there was the Amiga 500, 500 Plus, 600 and 1200. We
  • that if you had the memory expansion could be run the new games
  • We we used only the Workbench to copy the disks, but had dozens of other functions
  • We who knew by heart the lines of Monkey Island
  • We
  • that Monkey Island 2 Amiga diskettes was 11 (plus a vacuum for saved)
  • that if we had the hard drive you could install the game and forget about it
  • We
  • that there were no solutions on the internet, and if you could not go on telephone call to, or expect to come out in magazines
  • We
  • we joystick with one button, and mouse with two. Now we have over 10 buttons joypad to the analog sticks and motion sensors, and still not enough.
  • We
  • that the joystick was the most popular Albatros, black with red buttons
  • that the click of the microswitch We had a magical sound
  • us who we used to win the auto-fire
  • We seemed that when the word "guru meditation" would split the screen
  • We
  • that 14-inch screen was already there and we looked huge
  • that the rankings of the scores are erased when you turn off the game, but achievements and trophies that we
  • DOS had autoexec.bat and config.sys, but woe to get hold of us who
  • 80-megabyte hard drive seemed huge
There would be other phrases to be added ... if you have some propose to add it as a response to this post, I will put it in the (possible) next episode
